Ambassador Bwanali Mussa presenting Letters of Credence to Ambassador Terence Billeter
The Embassy of the Republic of Malawi to the Swiss Confederation is geared to strengthening and deepening bilateral relations with Switzerland. The journey to more bilateral cooperation has commenced today 28/08/2023 with Her Excellency Caroline C.S BWANALI-MUSSA presenting copies of Letters of Credence to Ambassador Terence Billeter, Head of Protocol of the Swiss Confederation at a ceremony held at the Federal Palace West Wing in Bern.
In her remarks, Ambassador Bwanali-Mussa expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to present the copies of credentials. Ambassador Bwanali-Mussa expressed the Malawi Government's commitment in working closely with the Swiss Government in strengthening and deepening the cordial relations that has existed since 1996.
Ambassador Bwanali-Mussa emphasised Malawi Government's keenness in collaborating in i) Climate Change and environmental issues ii) Capacity building iii) Trade and Investment and iv) Green Energy.
Malawi and Switzerland will look for increased cooperation in different areas of mutual interest and support for each other areas of interest
